Mr. Ebling is a shareholder and manages the real estate department at Berlin Patten Ebling, PLLC. He practices in the areas of complex commercial and residential real estate transactions and corporate matters related to the structuring of real estate transactions, including, without limitation, land use and zoning matters, developer representation, lender representation, contractor and builder representation, landlord representation, and purchaser and seller representation in connection with residential, commercial, and short sale purchase and sale transactions.
He is a Member of the Florida Bar (2000), the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, Sarasota County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Sarasota Young Professionals, American Cancer Society, and Leukemia Society – Suncoast Chapter. Mr. Ebling has also taught many realtors, buyer, and seller seminars on subject matters ranging from short sale transactions to 1031 Exchanges.
Mr. Ebling was born in Bradenton, Florida. He is a graduate of Florida Southern College where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with honors. After graduating from Florida Southern College Mr. Ebling was drafted by and played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Mr. Ebling retired from playing professional baseball to pursue the legal profession. He attended Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he received several honors including Best Trial Brief and a Book Award in Legal Research and Writing.After law school, Mr. Ebling practiced at Adorno & Yoss (f/k/a Adorno & Zeder) in Boca Raton, Florida before being recruited to come back to the Sarasota area by a prestigious local law firm to handle land use and real estate transactions. Mr. Ebling has since joined Berlin Patten Ebling because of the firm’s commitment to excellence, client satisfaction, broad client base, and emphasis on real estate transactions.
