Jill Bowen primarily practices in the areas of residential real property and commercial transactions. Jill grew up in Englewood, Florida, and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in 2015 and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Florida State University College of Law in 2019. In law school, she received multiple Book Awards for academic performance in Evidence, Land Use Regulation, Coastal & Ocean Law, and Legal Writing. During law school, Ms. Bowen served as a Staff Editor for Law Review and as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. After law school, Jill worked as a litigation attorney before joining Berlin Patten Ebling. Jill is currently involved in the Sarasota County Bar Association, serving on the Board for the Council for Diversity and Inclusion and the Young Lawyers Division. She also volunteers as a mentor with the Booker High School Law Institute and Teen Court. When not working, Jill loves to spend time boating and outside with her family working on her garden.
