Mitchell was born and raised in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies. He later obtained his law degree and a Master of Sports Law and Business from Arizona State University.

Outside of work, Mitchell loves playing guitar and writing music, watching sports and movies, and spending time with friends and family. On the weekends, you can find him relaxing at the beach or trying new restaurants.
