Bishoy focuses his practice in the areas of complex commercial and residential real estate transactions, including developer, lender, landlord and tenant, and purchaser and seller representation in connection with residential, commercial, and business transactions. Upon graduating from Stetson University in 2012 with his J.D. and M.B.A., Bishoy began his legal career working on intricate real estate transactions for a law firm representing some of the largest developers and banks in New York City. There, he represented lenders, borrowers, developers and investors in major transactions such as purchases, sales, ground leases, joint ventures, and complex financings. After moving back to Tampa to be closer to his family, he concentrated his practice in the area of finance law, representing local governments, banks, underwriters, bondholders, and trustees in transactions totaling over $11 billion. During this time he negotiated and drafted loan and security documents, purchase agreements, trustee documents, disclosures and public offering statements.
Bishoy’s experiences representing a wide array of clients, ranging from major developers and Fortune 500 companies to mom and pop business owners and small investors, have given him the ability to understand and appreciate the unique needs of each client. His clients appreciate his responsiveness, business acumen, and easy-going demeanor. Bishoy is a member of the Florida Bar, the New York Bar, and holds an active real estate Sales Associate license in Florida.
When he wasn’t busy practicing law, Bishoy started an event management company. Within 2 months, the company was able to secure some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment as clients (Todd Gurley, Le’Veon Bell, Jameis Winston, DeSean Jackson, Melvin Gordon, Kwon Alexander, and Gary Vaynerchuk, among others). In his free time, Bishoy loves traveling, staying active at the gym, playing sports, and rooting for his Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and USF Bulls.
