Kelly Roberts joined Berlin Patten Ebling in 2018. Her practice includes residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial and construction litigation, and assisting Berlin Patten Ebling’s clients with debt related issues and creditor representation in bankruptcy.
Kelly is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona. After graduating with a degree in psychology from the University of Arizona, she moved across the country to Washington, D.C. to work in a national law firm’s Capital Markets department. In 2007, Kelly left Washington, D.C. to attend law school at the University of Miami School of Law. Since attaining her Juris Doctorate degree in 2010, Kelly has focused her practice on bankruptcy and loan modifications, helping homeowners stay in their homes. Kelly has also represented creditor clients in large chapter 7 and chapter 11 cases in efforts to maximize payments to the creditor and preserve creditors’ secured interest in collateral. While practicing in Miami, Kelly was heavily involved with the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Miami. She served as the First Vice President on the executive board before relocating.
Kelly and her family relocated to Sarasota from Miami in 2018. When she is not working, Kelly enjoys running half marathons, watching college football, and spending time with her husband and their young daughter.
