Thank you for choosing Berlin Patten Ebling for your legal consultation needs. By scheduling and submitting payment for a consultation with our firm, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms of Service:
All consultations must be scheduled in advance and prepaid via over the phone with a Berlin Patten Ebling Onboarding Concierge. By providing your credit card information and authorizing payment, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You have scheduled either a 30-minute or 1 hour consultation with a Berlin Patten Ebling attorney. Please note that the consultation will not automatically conclude at the agreed upon time mark. The attorney will continue the consultation unless you choose to end it. If the consultation exceeds the scheduled time, you will be responsible for payment of any additional time at the attorney’s standard hourly rate.
When you schedule a consultation that involves reviewing documents (such as contracts, agreements, or other materials), your payment covers the attorney’s professional time in its entirety. This includes both (a) time spent reviewing documents in advance of the consultation, and (b) time spent speaking with you directly.
Because each matter is unique, the attorney may be able to address your questions in less time than the total
appointment block. In these cases, no additional call time is guaranteed, as the value lies in the attorney’s preparation and legal analysis in advance of the discussion.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 24 hours prior to the consultation may result in a charge for the full scheduled consultation fee, as our attorneys have reserved this time for you.
If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, you will be eligible for a full refund. Refunds may take 3–5 business days to process and appear on the card used for payment.
Please note that although your confirmation email may indicate a “weekly subscription,” this is a one-time payment for your scheduled consultation with a Berlin Patten Ebling attorney. You will not be charged on a recurring basis, and no additional payments will be processed unless explicitly authorized by you.
By providing your payment information over the phone and agreeing to schedule a consultation, you are authorizing Berlin Patten Ebling to charge your provided payment method for the consultation and any additional overage time, if applicable.
Consultations are intended to provide legal guidance based on the information provided by the client during the consultation. The consultation does not establish an ongoing attorney-client relationship beyond the consultation unless both parties mutually agree to proceed with additional services and a formal engagement letter is signed.
We respect your privacy. All personal and payment information collected during scheduling is used solely for the purpose of processing your consultation and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
Berlin Patten Ebling reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. The terms in place at the time of scheduling will apply to your consultation.

Simple Submission: Using Payload, you can send your EMD funds. The platform is designed to ensure your transaction is both secure and hassle-free.
Transparent Fee Structure: A nominal processing fee of $12.00 will be applied to your transaction. This fee is disclosed during the submission process.
Instant Confirmation: Once your transaction is completed, you’ll receive an immediate confirmation email from Payload. Our accounting team will also be promptly notified, usually within minutes of the transfer.
Specifically for EMD: Payload is exclusively for submitting your Earnest Money Deposit ONLY. It is not to be used for final closing proceeds or any other payments.
Deposit Limit: To maintain the integrity of our process, we have set a maximum deposit amount of $100,000.00 for EMD submissions.
